This Black History Month, we celebrate with the theme of ‘Reclaiming Narratives’ in mind, and a focus on taking ownership of our stories and how they are told. Too often, Black narratives are told with bias; intentional or not, and this month is an opportunity for us to assert our identities, challenge stereotypes and shape our own narratives.
We welcome you to join in the celebration by participating in discussions on our social media platforms, submitting your own stories for publishing or by simply acknowledging your story and the part you have played in contributing to the richness of the heritage that is Black History.
This month and always, the UKBPA advocates for greater recognition of the vital contributions Black Pharmacist make to the field of healthcare and to our communities. We continue to strive for equality, recognition and We celebrate the milestones we have made so far and look forward to continuing to shape the landscape of healthcare in the UK and beyond.
